Michigan Truck Accident: 2 Semi Trucks Crash West of Ann Arbor and Spill Fuel
Last Tuesday, according to officials, just near Zeeb Rd. on 94 Westbound, a semi truck jackknifed, which caused another semi truck to collide into it. As a result of the accident, diesel fuel was spilled all over the expressway along with an unknown substance.
The Washtenaw County Hazardous Materials Team responded to the accident and had the entire scene cleared by Wednesday last week.
Both drives were taken to the University of Michigan Hospital following the crash, and they are in stable condition.
According to the Michigan State Police, the Scio Township Fire Dept. and the HVA were among the first to respond to the accident.
Fortunately, nobody was killed as a result of the accident.
