Owners of the Deadly Dogs in the US Illegally

by / Friday, 01 August 2014 / Published in Dog Bites

We recently covered a story about 46 year-old Craig Sytsma who was mauled to death by two deadly mastiff-like dogs in Metamora Township, Michigan. These deadly dogs have past viscous tendencies and they are set to be euthanized.

However, now the owners are facing more legal troubles. The owners, a 45 year-old Italian man and a 44 year-old Albanian woman, are facing deportation charges for allegedly bribing a customs agent to keep them illegally in the country. As charged, the two paid $3,000 to fraudulently obtain political asylum.

This entire event is so unfortunate. Craig Sytsma lost his life because of two dangerous dogs. Goodwin & Scieszka’s condolences go out to the family members and friends of Mr. Sytsma who have been affected.
