Two People Injured in a Wrong Way Collision Off of I-96 by Coopersville

Another horrific Michigan car accident occurred off of I-96 by Coopersville. This is probably the 3rd accident Goodwin & Scieszka has reported on this week.

As a result of Heather Luke, 31, driving the wrong way down the expressway, another driver lost his life. While it’s still unknown why she was driving in the wrong direction, this is often associated with alcohol, drugs or gross negligence.

Gross negligence, if you have never heard the term, is defined as the “intentional failure to perform a manifest duty in reckless disregard of the consequences as affecting the life or property of another.”

Regardless of the cause, one man’s life was cut short due to another person’s decision to drive in the wrong direction down a highway where the speed limit is 70 miles per hour.

Our condolences go out to the family of the man killed in this accident.

Having spent the last 30 years litigating these types of claims, it is our passion to defend those who’ve been injured as a result of someone else’s negligence. To give a voice to the voiceless and stand up for justice. We are Goodwin & Scieszka; a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm in Southfield, Michigan.

If you’ve been injured in an automobile accident in Michigan you may be entitled to settlement or financial compensation. Even bicyclists and pedestrians have legal rights which may entitle them to financial awards.

Unfortunately, many victims will not receive their fair and just compensation because they don’t contact a skilled attorney. The legal road is bumpy for those who are not familiar with the court system, and we have the experience to get the financial award you deserve.  Don’t settle for peanuts just because an insurance adjustor tries to intimidate you. After representing thousands of accident victims, we have inside information that your insurance company doesn’t want you to know.

Our lawyers have already helped thousands of Michigan accident victims collect millions of dollars, and we’re ready to help you. Call us anytime, 24 hours a day, and we will be happy to serve you. Remember, Goodwin & Scieszka fights for you.
